JK: The Daily Trips

🍔 #GlowUpYUM Takes Over Rizal Park, Davao City

If you passed by Rizal Park yesterday, February 19, 2026, you probably wondered why the crowd was extra lively. Music was playing, people were lining up with big smiles, and of course — that familiar red and yellow vibe was everywhere.

It turns out Jollibee brought its newest campaign, #GlowUpYUM, right to the heart of Davao.

And honestly? It felt less like a promo and more like a mini festival.

A Glow-Up for a Classic

We all have memories attached to the Yumburger. It’s that go-to snack after school, that quick bite during busy days, or that “sakto lang sa budget” comfort food. With GlowUpYUM, Jollibee is giving that classic favorite a little makeover — more flavor, more sauce, more reason to crave it again.

It’s still the Yumburger we grew up with. Just leveled up.

The Davao Crowd Showed Up

By mid-afternoon, the park was buzzing. Families, students, barkadas — everyone seemed curious about what was happening. The team started giving out free upgraded Yumburgers, and you could literally see people comparing bites and nodding in approval.

Of course, the Yum mascot made an appearance, and that instantly turned the event into a photo session. Phones were out, reels were being filmed, and the hashtag #GlowUpYUM was slowly taking over timelines.

What I liked most was how natural everything felt. Walang pilitan. People were genuinely excited — especially when free food is involved (let’s be real 😅).

More Than Just a Burger Launch

GlowUpYUM isn’t just about changing a recipe. It’s about refreshing something familiar and making it exciting again. It’s that reminder that even the simplest things can evolve and still stay true to what made us love them in the first place.

And bringing it to an open public space like Rizal Park made it feel inclusive — not just for influencers or invited guests, but for everyday Dabawenyos who happened to be there.

Yesterday wasn’t just a campaign stop. It was a moment. A simple, happy break in the middle of a regular weekday — powered by music, community, and a burger that got its glow-up.

Have you tried the new Yumburger yet?  community, and a burger that got its glow-up.
